Real Madrid vs. Barcelona: Ronaldo and Messi score in 1-1 draw

Ten-men Real Madrid got a 1-1 draw against Barcelona in the spanish derby at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Lionel Messi scored the opener for Barcelona and appeared to be the star of the game. But Cristiano Ronaldo knew this was the chance to prove his world-class star status, and he scored the equalizer ten minutes before the end of the match.

This result tastes like victory for Mourinho's side. Casillas, Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo had an excellent performance and demonstrated that Real Madrid have real chances of winning at least one of the titles in dispute: Copa del Rey and Champions League.

Jose Mourinho complained about the referee and assured that Barcelona's Dani Alves should have been red carded. "For the Cup Final we should practice ten-men strategies" said the Portuguese coach.

Real Madrid vs. Barcelona: The winner will earn a lot more than three points

Mourinho's Real Madrid will face Guardiola's Barcelona four times in 21 days and the first duel in this Spanish-Derby overdose will take place tomorrow.

This match at the Santiago Bernabeu will have the attention of the whole world because of the extraordinary quality of both side's footballers, such as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, to name a few. And even though this game is - in theory - the least important one, the winner will have a huge motivation boost to face the other three games.

Mourinho prefers to remain in silence and that attitude upsets many journalists. However, we know that both teams will use their best cards on the pitch tomorrow. As for Guardiola, he already said that Real Madrid are favorites to win this first encounter.
