Real Madrid vs. Barcelona: Ronaldo and Messi score in 1-1 draw
Ten-men Real Madrid got a 1-1 draw against Barcelona in the spanish derby at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Lionel Messi scored the opener for Barcelona and appeared to be the star of the game. But Cristiano Ronaldo knew this was the chance to prove his world-class star status, and he scored the equalizer ten minutes before the end of the match.
This result tastes like victory for Mourinho's side. Casillas, Marcelo and Cristiano Ronaldo had an excellent performance and demonstrated that Real Madrid have real chances of winning at least one of the titles in dispute: Copa del Rey and Champions League.
Jose Mourinho complained about the referee and assured that Barcelona's Dani Alves should have been red carded. "For the Cup Final we should practice ten-men strategies" said the Portuguese coach.
