Ronaldo's numbers make history at Real Madrid

At the beginning, some may had doubts about Cristiano Ronaldo. But today he is finally the effective player everybody wants him to be: he just scored seven goals in 17 days.

And that's not the most important part of the news. He's scored 40 goals in 45 games, with an average of 0,88 goals per match. With that number, he is now more effective than Raul Gonzalez, or Alfredo Di Stefano, to name a few.

Cristiano Ronaldo has improved in every aspect since Mourinho was hired as the coach, and now the numbers speak by themselves.

Real Madrid close to book a spot in the next stage with a 2-0 win over AC Milan

Mourinho's side began to show their real capacity to play world-class football. This AC Milan would be favorites in a match against most teams in the world, but today's Real Madrid has just too much talent and energy to make the Italian club look like a small team. Cristiano Ronaldo lead his team to victory with a nice goal. Ronaldinho could not do the same for his side, and the game finished 2-0 for the locals.

At tonight's Champions League game we were able to see Cristiano Ronaldo having a great performance. He netted the first goal with a superb free kick. And the second one came just one minute later, when Mesut Özil shot a short pass and the ball hit Bonera's head before entering the goal.

The italian side lead by Ronaldinho and Seedorf took partial control of the game but there were no clear attacks on Madrid's field. Pirlo, Gatusso and Ibrahimovic were not a solution for Milan either, and now Mourinho's side are leaders of their group.
