Arsene Wenger offered by President candidate

According to reporters, one of the candidates to become president of Real Madrid claims he has approached Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger to take the white team.

Indeed, Juan Miguel Villar Mir will find out if he will replace Florentino Perez on July 2 when the Spanish club's members cast their votes for a new president.

As we know, Juventus boss Fabio Capello has also been linked with a move to the Spanish capital if Villar Mir takes charge.

Villar Mir expressed: "We have opened negotiations with Wenger and Fabio Capello, two excellent managers. We want to bring the best one here."

But it seems unilkely Wenger will join Real as he has always dismissed speculation by pointing out that he has a contract until 2008.
